My name is Gregory A. Sharp Jr. Im a Life Scout working on my Eagle at Troop 4 in Columbia South Carolina. I have an opportune to hike the Appalachian trial. The Appalachian trial is one of the largest trials in the United States of America. The trial is 2168.8 miles long, it starts in Georgia and it ends in Maine. It will take me and Mr. Armstrong, my hiking partner, about six mounts to hike the trial. But in order for me to be able to hike the Appalachian I need to raise $2997.00 for food, supplies, lodging, and transportation back home. I would like for you to help sponsor me with a portion of the money I will need to hike the trial.
Here are some of the reasons I would like you to assist in my sponsorship for me to be able to hike the trial. I think that it is a once in a life time chance to be able to hike the Appalachian trial with an experienced hiker, especially at 13. I will also be able to earn some of the merit badges I need to finish my eagle. This will be a good learning experience for me and I think it will be a lot of fun.
So far, I have been able to raise $750.00 and would appreciate it if you would help me with a portion of my expenses.
Thanks in advance for your support,
Gregory A. Sharp, Jr.
